Warsteiner Beer (Dark)

Warsteiner Beer(Dark). Paul rating : A. Very good. Dark, but goes down smooth. Very clean, not as carmely as Smithwicks.

Bird Feeder Update

Well, as you can see, because Bella is pointing it out to you, one of the "Squirrel Proof" bird feeders didn't last long. What a rip off. It really is. People are making millions of dollars off knuckleheads like me. The squirrel's ate through the plastic and dislodged the bird feeder from the base. I told you, squirrels are brilliant, and we should fear them. The other"Squirrel Proof" bird feeder is still doing good. We will see how long that lasts.

There Will Be Blood

Blood

Wow, this one is heavy. Shawncy and I watched it last night and I cant stop thinking about it. Brilliant is a word that comes to mind but it is even more than that. Within 30 seconds I knew it was going to be great. Its long, so be prepared. It symbolic, so be aware. E-mail us and tell us what you think.

Peroni Beer

I love this beer. I tend to like darker beers but this one does it for me. Its great on a hot day, or when eating spicy foods. I give this beer an "A".

Smithwicks and Advertising

Smithwicks is a very good beer. I'm surprised its not as popular as it is (At least not in the States). I went to Ye Old Falcon Pub yesterday and it went great with fish n chips. I've been loving this book lately. The Golden Age of Advertising-The 60s. The ads are so cool and creative.... so unlike anything we have today.

Guinness Beer

Shawncy and I have been watching "3 Sheets" on the Mojo Channel(408 Comcast). The host went to Ireland and drank a ton of Guinness. It worked. I went out and bought me a six pack. For those a little hesitant of dark beers, don't be......it's delicious, smooth, and not as heavy as you would think. It's perfect for sitting in your backyard bird watching. I am now craving a black-n-Tan.

Bird Feeders

The new bird feeders. Both are squirrel proof, but that doesn't mean jack. The person who can design the first "real" squirrel proof bird feeder should be viewed equally with Einstein or Edison. I'm not joking. Squirrels might be smarter than humans. I try to see which bird finds the feeders first. It always seems to be the bluejays.

Garden Update

Planted three different types of sunflowers, delphiniums, Four O'clock, Zinnia, and Garden Beans( Bush, Blue Lake 274). We'll see how it comes out, being that their all seeds.

Road Warriors

My Dad and I drove up to the Sebring/Avon Park/ Lake Placid area to check out some real estate and future living possibilities. I can pretty much rule out this area as a place to drop an anchor. To have a weekend house.... is what these towns are good for. The house above is on Lake Lotela for around 399. I love the look of this house......The lakes we liked best were Lake Josephine, Lake June and Lake Lotela. (Check your Florida altas, suckers.....if you even have one!) Next area I would like to explore is the Cocoa Beach/ Melbourne/ Sebastian/Vero areas.....
